Great angle! He looks so sad.
Improvements - I would say watch your surroundings and background. The leg of the chair/table is distracting as is the china cabinet and couch. Try getting closer - a marco shot.

So cute! I really like the perspective you got this in! The background is a little distracting, maybe some cropping? Other than that, it looks really good!

I thank ~Gordorca for the awesome avatar!
I would say that it is indeed pleasing to the eye. It is a very cute candid shot. You could tinker with the colors a little to give it a more calming ora, but that isn't really necessary because, as I understand it, it isn't that kind of picture.
Well done over all.

When you see a dead body don't freak out, just ring your death bell.
Awh. Alot of emotion captured in this picture. I would suggest cropping the floor closest to viewer but other than that I would play around with exposure levels and maybe add a little colour contrast in editing to amplify the dog as the direct focal point. I really do love this picture despite my critisism
Nice shot!
I would add some blur to the background, because it irritates the viewer a little. The eyes would come out even better!

(^ ^) this is the evil bunny of doom! so copy and paste it for world domination! *evilly laughs*
I like that you have experimented with the angle and got down on the floor with this shot. The next step you'd need to take is to get closer to your subject, really fill up the frame! I'd also suggest moving around the subject to get different perspectives.
By moving around your subject, and in keeping with altering your angles as you have started doing with this shot, you can sometimes eliminate distracting or ill-fitting backgrounds from the image. you can also enhance the detail on the subject and eliminate the backgrounds by experimenting with apature.
By the looks of things in your EXIF data you're not using a camera that you can manually adjust the apature settings, but you could experiment with shots using the macro setting to blur out the background.
You are well on your way with this shot though, so keep up the good work
I would suggest getting closer for your next shot (although I do like the entire body). A better idea would be to crop this - get rid of all the empty space in the foreground and create a frame where the dog, and just the dog, is apparent.
Awesome work!
